Yanina Chukhovich, MSW (She/Her)

Clinical Social Worker

Yanina Chukhovich is a clinical social worker who adapts to the needs of her clients, whether they are seeking practical strategies to alleviate their distress or a supportive space for self-exploration. She believes that any issue that is weighing on you is worth addressing!

She has experience working with individuals who struggle with anxiety and panic attacks, perfectionism, relationship issues, difficult life transitions, and histories of violence. She is currently completing a psychotherapy internship under the supervision of psychologist Kelly Ann Morel in order to obtain her psychotherapy permit from the Ordre des Psychologues du Québec. She prioritizes cognitive behavioural therapy as her main therapeutic approach during this internship.

Yanina holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from McGill University. For over 7 years, she has provided support to teens and adults at the public sector and community level. She is a full-time social worker at Dawson College, and deeply admires students who are overcoming various social and academic pressures in their day-to-day life!
