Yanina Chukhovich, MSW (She/Her)

Clinical Social Worker

Yanina Chukhovich is a clinical social worker who adapts to the needs of her clients, whether they are seeking practical strategies to alleviate their distress or a supportive space for self-exploration. She believes that no issue is too small to bring up to your counsellor if it is weighing on you!

She has experience working with individuals who struggle with anxiety and panic attacks, perfectionism, relationship issues, difficult life transitions, and histories of violence. Her therapeutic approach is emotionally focused and strength-based, and she often borrows tools from cognitive behavioural therapy.

Yanina holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from McGill University. For over 7 years, she has provided support to teens and adults at the public sector and community level. She is a full-time social worker at Dawson College, and deeply admires students who are overcoming social and academic pressures!
