Clinical Social Worker
Orit is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Her professional experiences have been within the public health and social service systems and the education and community sectors. She has worked with interdisciplinary teams servicing individuals of all ages, as well as couples and families.
Orit’s private practice involves working with persons affected by chronic and/or life threatening illnesses and allergies, and with individuals who are dealing with loss, life difficulties, anxieties and grief. Orit helps identify problem-solving skills and networks of support, and promotes self-advocacy and navigating systems to attain one’s own goals. In a supportive atmosphere, through a client-centered and holistic approach, an emphasis is placed on skill building and coping strategies to manage life issues.
