Martha obtained her Ph.D. in Counselling Psychology from McGill University in 2009 and is a member of the Order of Psychologists of Quebec (OPQ). She has 15 years of experience working as a psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, and instructor at McGill, and specializes in working with adults struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship problems, and grief. She is also experienced in and passionate about physician mental health and has a profound understanding of the unique stressors and systemic issues faced by doctors in their learning and work environments. Martha’s therapeutic approach prioritizes and values the development of trusting, authentic, and collaborative relationships with the individuals she works with. She aspires to accompany individuals in their personal journey by creating a safe(r) space to share, unpack, and heal from distressing thoughts, emotions, and difficult lived experiences.
