Leora Zunenshine, MSW (She/Her)
Clinical Social Worker
Leora holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from McGill University and is a member of the OTSTCFQ. She has 6 years of experience in Youth Protection, working with children and families and she specializes in working with adolescents and young adults struggling with mental health issues such as; anxiety, depression, general social issues and difficulties in interpersonal relationships.
Utilizing an integrative approach, Leora incorporates aspects of CBT, EFT, strengths-based, mindfulness and trauma-informed approaches in her practice to empower clients to achieve their goals, which often include working on healthier communication, assertiveness skills and positive coping strategies. Leora believes that finding ways to help clients recognize their strengths, increase their motivation and boost confidence and self-esteem are key to improving wellbeing, resiliency and quality of life.
Leora is also an Orthodox Jew, which provides her with the additional knowledge and understanding of some of the culteral difficulties faced by those in the Jewish community.
