Kayla Lipson, MSW (She/Her)

Clinical Social Worker

Kayla works with school-aged children, adolescents, young adults and families. She has worked in various settings including schools, hospitals and community. Kayla holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from McGill University and is a member in good standing with the OTSTCFQ. Her past experience has focused on supporting clients dealing with issues related to anxiety, depression, learning difficulties, self-esteem, career and academic advising, school-related stress, parenting challenges, attachment, developmental disabilities, bullying and emotion regulation.

Kayla’s primary goal is to ensure that her clients feel comfortable and supported in navigating any challenges they may be encountering in a non-judgmental and collaborative environment. She uses a strengths-based approach while drawing from various evidence-based therapeutic modalities. Kayla works together with her clients to help them identify and create goals, as well as supporting them through the process of reaching those goals. Kayla will then continue to support her clients offering insight and concrete tools in order to address and cope with future challenges proactively. Kayla looks forward to supporting you through this process with warmth, empathy and compassion.
