Clinical Social Worker

Julienne is a French-speaking social worker, specializing in clinical follow-up with adults (18 years and older) and seniors living with emotional and relational difficulties, life transition stages, bereavement and losses, breakups, stress, impulsivity, health problems including mental disorders. She has 9 years of experience working with these clients and their families. She is a graduate of the
University of Ottawa and holds a Master’s degree in Social Work. Julienne believes in the possibility for individuals and families to self-determine and take ownership of their power to act. She takes into account their contexts and uses different interventions including psychological education, self-care, emotional taming and
skill development. Her interventions are intended to be anti-oppressive, individual, family-oriented, strength-based and recovery-oriented.
