Genevieve Fauteux MFT, M.Ed., (she, her)

Couples and Family therapist

Genevieve received a Master’s in Family Life Education from McGill University in 1998. She further developed her clinical expertise in pursuit of a three-year Post-graduate Degree in Marital and Family Therapy at the Argyle Institute of Human Relations in Montreal, which she completed in 2001.

As a therapist specializing in working with adults, adolescents, couples and families, Genevieve provides a safe, non-judgmental environment to explore thoughts and feelings. Her approach is personalized and considers the unique needs and individual goals of the people she works with. Using an eclectic approach with a combination of systemic, psychodynamic, attachment theory, and the latest cognitive behavioural tools, Genevieve will help develop a unique treatment plan adapted to a person’s specific needs and bring about the discovery of new ways to approach life and relationships.

Working collaboratively with clients, she aims to help overcome obstacles, build deeper connections and bring a greater sense of harmony in life.
