Clinical Social Worker

Darcie Largan is a licensed clinical social worker in good standing with the OTSTCFQ, and is awaiting licensure as a psychotherapist and couple and family therapy (expected October 2021). She holds two master’s degrees from McGill University in social work, and in couple and family therapy.

Darcie works from a systemic lens to support individuals, couples and families to better understand and cope with their challenges. She uses a strengths-based approach to explore and better understand the unique experiences of her clients, and works collaboratively with them to determine goals and targets for therapy. She has ten years of experience working with youth, and has spent the last six years working in hospitals, health clinics and a crisis center to support adolescents, young adults, and young families to adapt to their life challenges. Darcie is experienced in working with clients across the life cycle who are confronting mental health challenges including depression, anxiety, suicidality, self-harm, and emotional regulation difficulties. Darcie strives to support her clients with validation and empowerment to overcome their challenges and develop new coping strategies and perspectives.
